"Shaking" Yoga

One of Jillian‘s favorite things to do is to shake. To shake her head, feet, arms, legs, everything. So, she has decided to offer a class dedicated to shaking!

This class has also been called a self massage class because all the shaking loosens up muscle groups and tendons. You will definitely sleep well after this class.

The adrenal glands controls the fight flight and freeze response to stress. A lot of times our lives can be so stressful that our adrenal glands never come out of the action of fight, flight, or freeze. By shaking the body we allow the adrenal glands to release stress and to come back into a more relaxed normal state of being. Animals in nature use the technique of shaking to stabilize the autonomic nervous system and bring themselves back into homeostasis. Just like a dog shakes during a thunderstorm or after he has been chased, our bodies can shake to relieve us from the stress of life. No, we are not being chased by a man eating tiger. But, sometimes it feels that way. So, come shake out the stress with Jillian and Break the cycle of fight, flight, or freeze. Relieve stress to movement so you will feel more relaxed and refreshed mentally and emotionally.

Chakra Yoga Day Retreat

Jillian will be offering a Chakra Yoga day retreat that will focus on the balancing and healing of the body through the Chakra energy system. A balanced energy flow to the Chakras allows for healing and growth within the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies. The retreat will consist of 2 yoga sessions, a silent nature walk, campfire meditation and movement, and group discussions.

The yoga sessions will introduce postures, movements, sounds, and breath work to bring balance to the flow and spin of the Chakra energy within the body.

A silent nature walk will allow for inter-reflection and the opportunity to connect with Mother Earth.
A campfire meditation will give you the ability to understand the flow of energy in and out of relationships, as well as give us the time to connect as a community.
During this retreat Jillian will teach yoga postures, meditations, and other useful tools to take into your own yoga practice and life in general to facilitate self care. Life is...well...Life, so it is important to use all types of healing techniques to help us make it through with as much peace as possible. Jillian’s goal is to help bring peace, love, joy, and hope into the retreat so participants leave feeling balanced, rested, and at peace physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
The retreat will be held at a mountain cabin. Weather permitting, most activities will be outdoors. Participants will have access to bathrooms and kitchen. Snacks and drinks will be provided. The yoga sessions will be outside so, bring extra padding for knees and hips. Bring notepad and pencils. And don’t forget plenty of water.Being Tennessee, who knows what the weather will do, so be prepared for temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 40s.

Beginner's Yoga Series

Beginner's Yoga Series

Jillian will be offering a 6-week beginner’s yoga series on Friday evenings from 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm. The series will run from March 1, 2019 through April 5, 2019.

In this series, Jillian will focus on:
• Correct posture
• Alignment
• Muscle engagement
• Breath work.

Participants should finish this course with:
• A new sense of confidence in their own bodies.
• A basic understanding of yoga postures.
• Three-part breath work.
• A feeling of encouragement when joining a new yoga class.

The session will last for 6 weeks

The cost of the series will be $72.00

The classes will move at a comfortable pace allowing for questions and conversations in regards of posture and anatomy. The course will be geared to beginners to yoga, but experienced students are welcome to attend in order to reinforce correct and safe posture.

Chakra Yoga Session

Jillian will be offering a 7 week yoga session focusing on yoga postures, meditations, and energy work to help bring balance to the Chakra energy system. There will be 7 classes, with each class dedicated to 1 of the 7 major Chakras, energy wheels. This course is designed to help bring balance to the body, mind, and spirit. After these classes participants should have a better understanding of the Chakra energy system, how this energy system creates boundaries, and an idea of how to find balance within one’s own Chakra system. 


Jillian will be providing energy work during each class and recommends participants to receive a Reiki session during the 7 weeks. A Reiki session will help students identify with their energy and how it is functioning physically and emotionally. Jillian suggests receiving a Reiki session at the beginning of the 7 weeks and another at the end to make none judgment comparisons.


The Classes:

Every Friday from  January 11, 2019 - February 22, 2019 at 5:00 PM 



Yoga only session - $77 for the 7 weeks.

Yoga sessions with 1 Reiki session is $117

Yoga sessions with 2 Reiki sessions is $157


Note: The Reiki sessions are discounted for those participating in the Chakra Yoga Session.

Bach Flower Saturday

Bach was a English Doctor who studied the influence of flower essences on human emotions and characteristics. He felt that a lot of people’s physical discomfort and illnesses resulted from a emotional imbalance. He discovered 38 flower essences that could help balance the emotions and therefore help the physical body as well. The flower essences are a homeopathy, meaning that they are safe for children, pets, and all adults. Jillian has used Bach flower remedies for her entire family with great success, and now she is excited to offer Bach flower therapy as another modality at Jillian’s Studio.

   Jillian has been studying Bach flower essences for the last two years and is now ready to share her knowledge with her clients, friends, and family. On September 8, 2018 Jillian will be offering Bach flower consultations for only $25 (normally $40). This will include an interview, muscle testing, and a personal flower essence created to help balance each individual‘s emotions.
